August 15 - Latrice from Bay Area group Five Point Plan called up, and doing all the PSA's were Bucky Jay and Renny K., who just happen to be my nephew and niece in-law and damned if they didn't do a better job than I do. Durn kids.

............

August 8 - We had the pleasure of talking with the great Henry Butler.

............

July 25- our unscheduled guest was the Big Boss Man himself. Nope, not Jimmy Reed (he's dead, ya dope), but the real deal, FCC Chairman Bill Kennard!

............

June 13 ANGELA STREHLI was our special guest, and Bones and I had a great time talking to her about her days in Austin with Stevie, W.C. and the T-birds, her move to the Bay Area, and her role as co-owner of Rancho Nicasio.

............

May 30- Fat Possum Records recording artist Super Chikan called up to talk to me and Bones. Playin' the blues and eating barbeque. Ahhhhhhh.

............

May 16- Lil' Ed Williams never showed up, but that's okay. MAybe he was confused by the "May 18th" graphic on the web page. My pal Will Durst pointed out my screw up, but at least he knew enough to tune in and be disappointed. Ahh what the hell, we gave away some tix, Robert in Newark was a lucky number winner and we had fun ANYway, dammit.

............

May 2- Eric Sardinas talked to us about his show at the Boom Boom Room, his new record "Treat Me Right", and a guy named Ruby in Clarksdale, Mississippi who makes the best barbeque Eric's ever had. Ruby does it in his backyard, and you gotta go into a bar in downtown Clarksdale called Red's and ask for Ruby. This sounds like the way ALL barbeque joints should be run. And Eric sounds like our kinda people.

............

April 18 - R.J. Mischo talked to us, and told us about an upcoming blues harmonica record that sounds interesting. It includes the likes of Mr. Mischo, along with Mark Hummel, Rick Estrin, Kim Wilson, and lots more all recorded live. It's coming soon on Mountain Top Records.

Also, our veteran Millennium Reporter Howell Norfolk gave us the lowdown on those new photos of Area 51, and why nobody's coming clean about those alien bathtubs.

............

February 22-"The Struggle For Maxwell Street" documentary produced some nice comments from listeners, who mentioned a documentary done by the late Mike Bloomfield back in the eighties. For more information, and how you can help, contact the Maxwell Street Historic Preservation Society. Plus, our brief chat with Big Jack Johnson was kinda fun, and we found out that Big Jack likes to go fishin' when he ain't kickin' out the blues.
