A bespoke invitation for a professional pianist bride and her Silicon Valley engineer groom, it features a whimsical robot sculpture made from old piano parts (by artist Josef Szuecs) packed in shredded sheet music in a bamboo box.
For a couple who shared a more spiritual path, this package included individually carved “Heartstone” sculptures by artist Jonna Ramey. This and the invitation was enclosed in a white pine Japanese gift box tied with silk ribbon.
Simple invitation packages in a variety of styles.
Using images from the brides backyard where the event took place, I used a combination of three-color silkscreen printing and letterpress to reflect her fondness for the Arts and Crafts style.
