cheap, it's easy, and it's a great way to get the word out about
your products and services to racers in Northern California and
around the world via our publicity before, during and after the
race.
This
enduro
has been featured in Scale Auto Racing News, Slot Car
Bulletin as well as continuously publicized on
Old Weird Herald, Slot
Car World, and Durl's
web sites. Durl's also maintains permanent web pages devoted to
the Enduro
race reports and photo
galleries, all of which prominently feature sponsor
logos and web links.
This
year we up the ante, creating more publicity before and
during the event and more race coverage after the race. Our race
reports routinely show up in Slot Car Bulletin.
We'll be publishing notices on OWH as well as SlotForum International,
Slotblog, Pit Space (the Northern California slot racing forum)
and printing both posters and handbills for distribution locally
and world wide.
While
actual race participation will probably be limited to drivers from
California, media coverage will be national and global, and for
very little outlay, sponsors will get an enormous amount of publicity
for their efforts.

Ways
YOU can sponsor this Enduro:
> Merchandise.
For manufacturers of goods and services either slot car related
or not, your products make great prizes. You can always specify
the category (race finish, fastest lap, concours or "slotto")
you'd like your prizes awarded in, too. Because this race is run
by two-driver teams, it helps if you provide pairs of whatever you
donate. All sponsors recieve a free quarter-page ad in the souvenir
program. Larger ads are available for enhanced participation.

Trophies and/or plaques. In the past I've designed the
award plaques, placing the sponsors name at the bottom. If you want
to sponsor the awards, I can do them however you
like, or you can provide them. In addition, this year I plan on
presenting each participant with a small commemorative plaque (which
will include the sponsors name), as part of the above-mentioned
race program.
SPONSORS
GET THEIR NAMES and/or LOGOS featured prominently in all media,
signage and reportage of the race. In addition, sponsors will be
featured on the race reportage web pages. This will include descriptions,
photos and links to sponsor web pages and/or e-mail addresses (provided
by sponsor).
DEADLINES:
Obviously,
the sooner sponsors let us know of their intentions, the better.
Notices to online bulletin boards began June 16th. Sponsors
will be added to these postings immediately. Posters and
handbills will be printed September 24th, with later reprints
to include new sponsors, should it be necessary.
Prizes/trophies/etc.
must be received by October 15th, 2009.
