DURL'S THINGEE ENDURO 6

California's biggest and longest-running slot car enduro returns this fall and with it comes a new body, improved rules and driver classifications, and an even more bombastic array of prizes!

The cars are, as always, balanced 16D-powered flexis that pretty much everyone already has. If you run Norcal/SCRA or USRA Nascars, all you need to do is pop a Manta Raynoda body on it and you will be good to go. Please check the official rules to make sure you are legal in all regards and come join us.

This year's body is The Manta Raynoda, a re-pop of the Classic Manta Ray, made by Raynoda Dreamwerks. These bodies are molded in .20-thou PETG and sized to fit on a standard flexi chassis. Please check the official rules regarding the cutting and mounting of these bodies. They have no defined cut line, so making sure you are legal is imperative.

IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to make this race more fun for everyone, we are making the advanced/amateur classification more fair for non-local teams. Local Slot Car World regulars will have a hard time being classified as Advanced racers, unless they habitually suck, or are paired with someone even worse than they are. Our intent is to make the chances for out of town teams as even as possible.

Tech Director this year is the perky and vivacious Harley Ratto, who will enforce the rules with gusto both at tech and throughout the race.

The most hotly contested Concours 'd Elegance in all of slot racing. and we're not exaggerating! Take a look at the photos of some of our past Concours podiums and see if you don't agree. The wildest, beautifulest and also the most realistic bodies you've ever seen regularly make the podium and win box plaques and sad little trinkets. Think you got what it takes? Whip it out and try your luck. Just remember, we don't cotton to shelf queens. If it's in Concours, you're racing it.

9/20/10- Parma/PSE sponsors Enduro! The return of Parma PSE to the sponsors is welcome news indeed. If you race slot car in the US, its a fair bet you've got more than one Parma product in your box.
